Hawk Security - Hawk / Interface are liars!
I was kicked out of the building I ran my business out of for 12 years because it was sold out from under me. I moved all of my belongings out and the last thing I did was removed the alarm system.
I called the 800 number on the keypad to let them know that I was moving to a new location and I needed to transfer my system over to the new address. They sent a guy out who had me sign a contract, the set up the system and about a week or two later is when I find out that Hawk and Interface are no longer the same company?? Hawk never told me about this, they acted like they were the same company throughout the meeting I had with the rep, he never once told me they were not the same company anymore. Now I am being billed by Interface for nearly 1200 dollars for an early termination fee??
How can they do this to me? They never told me they were getting a divorce! They never changed the equipment to update the numbers to Interface! The numbers were Hawk and that was who I thought was my security company!!!!!!
Now they are taking me to collections because I refuse to pay them for screwing me over like this! I will file a report with the FTC and the better business bureau.
Reason of review: They lied to me and are taking me to collections.
Monetary Loss: $1200.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I was not in an "unhappy mood". What's mood have to do with the facts?
Hawk and interface security lies to their customers! That's a known fact.
Does me using an explanation point indicate to you that I'm in an "unhappy mood"? I think not.
I was also lied to. I was told by a service guy that my system was old and out of date (I live in a new house) and that the issues I was experiencing were due to that fact.
I had this new system installed, increased my monthly bill and signed a new contract. The next week the issue persisted... new system and all!
I have contacted the company to resolve the issue 4 times. They have yet to fix it and are rude when I call.
They don't care about their customers. It's obvious they do not care about you or me either. I'm surprised the other customers they rip off aren't complaining too.
